Freelance Front-End Web Developer & Graphic Designer

Overview

formula D_ is seeking a skilled front-end web developer with strong graphic design capabilities to update and enhance our website layouts () and create visually compelling HTML mailer designs. The ideal candidate should have expertise in custom Word Press templates and be able to work within our existing Word Press framework. Additionally, they will design and implement HTML mailers for the Pipedrive mailer system.

• Implement graphic design and layout updates on the formula D_ website following our brand guidelines.
• Make front-end and back-end changes to site navigation and architecture for improved usability and experience.
• Develop and refine custom Word Press templates while ensuring compatibility with our current system.
• Both desktop and mobile responsiveness.
• Design and create HTML mailers with visually engaging graphics for marketing campaigns, aligned with Formula D’s branding.
• Set up and integrate HTML mailers into the Pipedrive mailer system.
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and Creative Director to execute design and development projects effectively.

• Strong front-end web development skills with a focus on Word Press customization and template development.
• Proven graphic design expertise, with experience in web and email marketing design.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Ability to make structural and UI/UX improvements to enhance user experience and site performance.
• Experience with Pipedrive mailer system or similar CRM-based email marketing tools is a plus.
• Ability to follow and implement formula D_’s brand guidelines consistently.
• Mid to senior-level experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Remote work possible (Cape Town-based not required).
