Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization, development, and execution of innovative interior design projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget, translating ideas into functional and visually compelling designs.
- Prepare detailed design presentations, including mood boards, sketches, 3D renderings, and material selections.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project implementation and adherence to design specifications.
- Oversee the selection and procurement of furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories that align with project goals.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring all milestones are met within established parameters.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality standards.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and fostering professional growth within the team.
- Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to integrate innovative solutions into design projects.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in interior design, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of completed interior design projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
- Solid understanding of materials, finishes, and furnishings relevant to interior design.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices.
