Plan Checker

We are seeking a Plan Checker on a contract basis.

This role offers the flexibility of fully remote working and is suitable for those with experience in building control and a Class 2F designation. This is a part time and ad hoc role working no more than 5 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing and assessing building plans to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Providing detailed feedback and recommendations for necessary modifications
Liaising with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to discuss plan requirements
Ensuring all reviewed plans adhere to Building Control standards
Documenting findings and maintaining comprehensive records of all reviewed plans
Offering expert advice on building regulations and compliance issues
Staying up-to-date with changes in building regulations and ensuring plans reflect current standards

Job Requirements:

Experience in building control and plan checking
Class 2F qualification
Strong understanding of building regulations and compliance standards
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in plans
Proficient in written and verbal communication to provide clear and concise feedback
