Please note that this role is based in Manchester, and our current hybrid working arrangement requires office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Summary of our role

We’re on the lookout for a Senior Art Director to join our award‑winning creative team. You’ll be responsible for delivering bold, intelligent, and visually compelling work that not only meets but exceeds client expectations. You’ll play a key role in shaping creative direction, mentoring junior talent, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in healthcare communications.

What you can expect to be doing:
  • Leading the visual direction of multi‑format campaigns across print, digital, and social platforms.
  • Collaborating with copywriters and strategists to develop original, insight‑driven concepts.
  • Managing your own projects and accounts, ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery within budget.
  • Providing creative direction during shoots and production, working closely with external partners.
  • Mentoring junior creatives and supporting their development through feedback and guidance.
  • Presenting ideas confidently to clients and internal teams, backed by strong storytelling and rationale.
  • Staying ahead of industry trends and proactively applying new thinking to your work.
  • Championing effectiveness and helping turn great work into award‑winning submissions

  • You’re curious, open to feedback, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ideally, you have experience working with Generative AI tools and data, along with AI certifications from platforms such as Coursera, Section AI, or Linked In Learning.
