Locum Consultant Gynaecologist Consultant

Position Overview

Strengthen the existing team of Gynaecologists at Liverpool Women’s Hospital. The team provides care to women across Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and the Isle of Man.

• Assist with general gynaecology including emergency, outpatient, special‑interest clinics.
• Provide inpatient elective gynaecological surgery – both major and minimally invasive.
• Participate in emergency gynaecology; may join the ‘hot week’ team. No on‑call out of hours.
• Lead development of new pathways and support senior management in shaping the future strategy of gynaecology services.
• Contribute to medical education for undergraduate and postgraduate doctors.
