Position Overview

We seek a highly skilled and motivated Online Learning Program Manager to lead and manage our online learning initiatives. In this remote position, you will oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of online learning programs designed to enhance the educational experience and achieve strategic learning goals. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, leveraging technology, and ensuring the highest quality of online learning solutions.

The position offers an annual salary of $123,519.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Development and Management: Design, develop, and implement comprehensive online learning programs that align with organizational goals and educational objectives. The end-to-end program creation process includes needs assessment, curriculum design, content development, and instructional delivery. Ensure programs are engaging and compelling and utilize best practices in online education.

  Lead a team of instructional designers, subject matter experts, and technical support staff. Foster a collaborative environment, providing guidance and support to team members to achieve program goals. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including department heads, to ensure alignment of learning programs with organizational needs.
• Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement online learning platforms and tools that enhance the delivery and management of learning programs. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in online education to improve program effectiveness continuously. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure the seamless operation of online learning systems.
• Quality Assurance and Evaluation: Develop and implement evaluation strategies to assess the effectiveness and impact of online learning programs. Analyze feedback from learners, instructors, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement. Prepare and present reports on program performance, including learner satisfaction, engagement, and outcomes metrics.
• Content Development and Curation: Work with subject matter experts to create and curate high-quality educational content that meets learning objectives. Ensure content is up-to-date, relevant, and adheres to instructional design principles. Review and revise content based on feedback and evolving educational standards.
• Budget and Resource Management: Manage the budget for online learning programs, including planning, forecasting, and tracking expenditures. Allocate resources effectively to support program development, delivery, and maintenance. Identify and manage external vendors and consultants as needed.
• Strategic Planning and Reporting: Develop and implement strategic plans for online learning initiatives, aligning with the organization’s overall mission and goals. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and innovations. Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in managing online learning programs, including experience in instructional design and technology integration.
• Strong understanding of online learning platforms, tools, and best practices in e-learning.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, manage projects, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
