We are currently recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Nottingham office.

The role will involve assisting with the provision of a professional structural engineering service to the Practice and its clients.

This will mainly be focused on defence, secure infrastructure, and aviation industries. The role will need the candidate to be experienced in coordinating a multi‑disciplinary design team, providing technical design solutions in a process driven environment and the ability to prepare technical packages from conception through to completion.

• Work with the team leader to endeavour to maintain a fee income for the structural engineering team in Nottingham to an agreed monthly target.
• Assist in the promotion of the Practice’s structural engineering services.
• Design practical structural design solutions and to interpret with architectural concepts in a practical and economic manner.
• Design and assist with supervising projects, establish client briefs, technical requirements, scope of works, cost plans and agree deliverables, i.e. report, specifications and drawings scope for all projects.
• Assist in agreeing a level of service and project design duties for each project, understanding the relationship with the fee.
  
  Assist with monitoring engineering/CAD/Revit resource requirements for each project within your control.
• Carry out engineering concept design to detailed design, tender and contract, on site supervision to completion, ensuring projects are undertaken in accordance with design briefs and that completion deadlines are achieved.
