Binnies UK, part of the RSK Group, is seeking Lead Civil Engineers to work within our Delivery group on Non-Infra UK Water Engineering projects.

As a technical specialist and/or in a lead role, you will develop and apply advanced engineering techniques, concepts, and approaches.

At Binnies, we offer flexible, hybrid, part-time and remote working patterns with a flexible UK base location.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide guidance on department design guides, standards, systems, and applicable engineering codes.

Prepare calculations and develop civil engineering deliverables (models, drawings, reports), adhering to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

Support continuous improvement and provide guidance to team members.

Coordinate with internal and external teams on complex projects.

Prepare civil engineering deliverables for large or multiple projects.

Recommend materials and construction techniques.

Develop specifications for data management in engineering work.

Serve as a technical expert, advising project teams.

Mentor and develop junior staff.

Ensure compliance with all health & safety duties of Designers.

Person Specification:

Background in Civil Engineering Design and/or Hydraulics/Structural engineering.

Experience in design and build projects.

Knowledge of design and checking of non-infrastructure water/wastewater treatment works.

Ability to lead and manage a team of civil engineers and specialists, and collaborate with other disciplines.
