These works form part of a long–term project supporting the development, modernisation, and sustainability of Rolls‑Royce's advanced manufacturing and operational facilities in Derby – a key hub of the UK's aerospace and nuclear sectors.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Senior Project Manager to take a leading role in this prestigious programme. You'll be at the forefront of complex, high‑value construction projects within live operational environments, where precision, collaboration, and safety are paramount.

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale construction and infrastructure projects within a live Rolls‑Royce operational environment.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget, and in full compliance with Rolls‑Royce and Balfour Beatty governance standards.
• Manage multi‑disciplinary design, engineering, and delivery teams, fostering collaboration and performance excellence.
• Drive project controls, commercial management, risk mitigation, and reporting.
• Build strong relationships with client representatives and key stakeholders at all levels.
• Promote and uphold a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, digital delivery, and carbon reduction across the project lifecycle.

You will have the following:

• Significant experience leading large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects (preferably within live industrial, defence, or manufacturing environments).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• A solid understanding of NEC contracts and project governance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex interfaces and technical challenges.
• Commitment to collaborative working and continuous improvement.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional membership (e.g. APM, RICS, ICE, CIOB) is desirable.
