Engineer (Roads) – WSP

Join the WSP Roads team in the London & South East region (Cambridge, London Westferry Circus, Basingstoke, Guildford or Southampton) and work on a wide range of projects from active travel to digital design and strategic network improvements.

• The delivery of road projects and services for Central Government Authorities, Local Authorities and other public/private sector clients.
• Support the Senior Engineer/Team Leader with the development of designs using Civil3D and AutoCAD.
• Liaise with stakeholders including landowners and manage consultation records.
• Assist the Team Leader in guiding, supervising and directing junior team members in technical and project management matters.

• A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent within a highway design role.
• Working towards Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status; member of an appropriate Institution.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision or as part of a larger delivery team on complex projects in a CAD/BIM environment.
• Adept at AutoCAD with aptitude to further develop in Civil3D/GIS and BIM.
• Experience dealing with stakeholders, including landowners, and recording all consultations.
• Accurate record keeping and excellent attention to detail.
