Salary range: £42,000 to £50,000 per annum

Working Pattern:
We operate a flexible hybrid pattern at Frazer-Nash, with time split between the office, client sites and working from home.

Frazer-Nash Consultancy provides safety, assurance and certification services to the UK defence land environment. We support our defence clients in providing the UK with a safe and sustainable military capability. Our work includes international clients and is carried out through effective systems engineering and technical services across the land portfolio. The role offers a chance to join an expanding team and lead the technical delivery of projects across the defence land spectrum.
You will develop a portfolio of project deliveries, hone your consultancy skills and mentor more junior engineers and graduates. You may also work outside the land domain to broaden your expertise.
Essential Requirements- At least 2 years’ experience of working in, or technically leading, multi‑disciplinary engineering teams in the defence land domain.
- Demonstrable understanding of the safety aspects of a project/systems life cycle.
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience of working in or with DE&S.
- Practitioner in one or many of the following disciplines:
Safety & Roadworthiness;
Cyber Security for Roadworthiness (ISO/SAE 21434:2021);
Land Certification (DEFSTAN Def Stan 23‑015, Land System Certification (LSC));
Regulatory & Legislative Compliance; or Modifications and configuration control. - Previous or current experience as an engineering consultant.
- Working toward becoming a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
Due to the nature of the work Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertakes, candidates will be required to undergo pre‑employment screening and must satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
