Electrical Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project documentation and verify against the Drawing Register.
• Perform take-offs and assess project complexity, identifying potential risks.
• Analyze specifications and project documentation.
• Send enquiries to specialists and issue RFIs as required.
• Input data into Cypher estimating software.
• Prepare tender letters and summaries for submission.
• Lead pre-bid meetings with management.
• Participate in pre-, mid-, and post-tender meetings.
• Conduct Value Engineering analysis on tenders when necessary.
• Attend site visits during tender stages.
• Ensure smooth handover of secured projects to the Contracts Manager.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations for accuracy and compliance.
• Occasionally assist with large project variations.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in estimating.
• Apprenticeship background (desirable, but not essential).
• Familiarity with Cypher estimating software (desirable, but not essential).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with high-end residential projects (desirable, but not essential).

• Salary: Competitive ( 50,000 - 65,000 per annum).
