Installation Engineer – Ham Baker

Location:

Nationwide (Base: Stoke-on-Trent, Sheffield, or Colchester)
Travel: UK-wide, working away up to 4 nights per week

We have an opportunity for an Installation Engineer to join Ham Baker, a Galliford Try business, as an Installation Engineer and become a key player in delivering innovative water treatment and process solutions nationwide.

What you will be doing:

* Install, Service & Commission - deliver high-quality installations and maintenance of water treatment equipment.

* Safety First - work in challenging environments (confined spaces, heights) while upholding the highest safety standards.

* Problem-Solving - take ownership of tasks, report issues promptly, and contribute to efficient site operations.

* Continuous Improvement - identify better ways of working and support strong client relationships.

About You:

* Mechanical fitting skills or previous hands-on engineering experience within the water industry

* Strong health & safety awareness

* Excellent teamwork and communication skills

* Flexible, proactive, and willing to travel and stay away from home

* Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to personal development

* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)

* Full UK driving licence.

Desirable (training provided): NVQ Level 2, CSCS/CPCS, PASMA, IPAF, Confined Space, SSSTS, First Aid, Plant operation, and more.
