Job OverviewWe are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled User Terminals Operations Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in the engineering, maintenance, delivery and performance of the many supported user terminals in the Eutelsat LEO network. In this position, you’ll work closely with world class user terminal vendors, engineering teams, service managers, and other operations teams to contributing directly to our ongoing projects and initiatives.

As a UT Operations Engineer at One Web, you will play a key role in our business growth. You will work with other Operations Engineering and Development teams to provide tier 3 operational support for the early stages of new user terminals deployment, service support escalations, and new system features deployments.
What You’ll Do:- Provide Tier 3 Operations Engineer support for User Terminal Service and Operations troubleshooting and debugging
- Perform new firmware and software release planning and testing for a variety of UTs
- Deliver hands on training of new features and user terminals to Operations Team and Distribution Partners
- Work closely with the Dev Engineering and System Engineering to identify issues to improve the performance of UTs
- Investigate and reproduce reported issues with UT vendors engineers
- Create and maintain documentation regarding existing standards and processes
- Provide support for installation and configuration of user terminals
- On-site engagement with technical support from Distribution Partners
- Support on-call rotation for high priority escalations
- Travel up to 20% of the time
- Systematic and methodical approach to debugging and problem solving
- Experience with Sat Com and RF technologies
- Experience with IP networks (routing and switching)
- Working knowledge and use of Linux OS and python programming
- Working understanding of Cellular Technologies would be desirable, e.g., 3
