Senior Structural Engineer

Position: Senior Structural Engineer (Permanent)
This is a fresh and rare opportunity to join a leading local practice at a senior level. This business is a multidisciplinary consultancy and has offices across the region and specialise in civil and structural Engineering; they are involved in several high-profile local projects and have a healthy share of the local market. Projects immediately in immediate pipeline range from £6m to £100m and include:

Multi-storey RC frames
Police stations
Education projects both new build and refurb
Cutting edge contemporary innovation centres both local and national
Student accommodation
Residential developments
A major supermarket chain including their commercial buildings
This role is focused on running a dedicated team servicing clients within the technology sector with projects reaching into the hundreds of millions. We are looking for someone who is resilient, enjoys a challenge and reacts well to demanding project requirements.

Responsibilities:

Leading design team of structural engineers and cad technicians
Building and maintaining relationships with key clients
Ensuring timely technical delivery
Supporting and working closely with an Associate to manage your department
Helping to build the company’s profile
This opportunity requires an experienced structural engineer to join at a Senior or Principal level with the view of taking responsibility for the technical delivery of technology based structural solutions.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has real motivation and who can manage and deliver their workload within time and quality constraints. Experience working with larger contractors and comprehensive knowledge of the construction process will be key. Home working is on offer with up to 3 days working from home with two sets of hardware provided by the company.

This roles comes with excellent remuneration including a salary of £60,000 - £70,000 and a comprehensive benefits package
