Salary: 40,000 + 6,000 Car Allowance + Commission (OTE 55K- 65K+) + Bonus + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Private Medical.

Are you an engineer with experience in electronic test and measurement systems, looking to take your technical expertise into a customer-facing sales role with excellent autonomy and earning potential?

On offer is a home-based position with a long-established technical solutions provider, giving you the opportunity to develop your career in sales while supporting customers across the North with advanced testing and instrumentation solutions.

This is a respected, expanding company with over 30 years' experience supplying precision electronic equipment to industries including aerospace, R&D, and manufacturing. They're known for developing their people, valuing initiative, and providing clear progression pathways for technically minded professionals moving into sales.

You'll cover the North and Scotland, spending around 60% of your time working remotely and 40% visiting customers. The role focuses on understanding technical challenges, recommending tailored solutions, and building long-term partnerships with engineers, labs, and test departments.

This role would suit a hands-on engineer or applications specialist looking to step into a sales career, where your technical background and problem-solving ability will be key to your success and long-term progression.

The Role:

• Manage and develop relationships across the North of England & Scotland

• 60% home based, 40% visiting clients (mix of Teams and on-site meetings)

• Support customers with technical solutions for test and measurement applications

• Develop new business across advanced engineering, R&D, and industrial sectors

The Person:

• Background in electronic test, measurement, or instrumentation systems

• Looking to transition from engineering or applications into sales

• Strong communication skills and customer-facing confidence

• Self-motivated, technically curious, and driven to develop commercially
