Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer

RLE International is working on behalf of their Essex based Automotive Client, who are currently looking for a Vehicle Architecture Development Engineer to support their team.

Rate: £29.59 (via PAYE UMBRELLA) - increasing to £38.38 after 12 weeks under AWR's - Agency Worker Regulations.

VA engineers are responsible for establishing and delivering the fundamental layout of vehicles including the dimensions; mass balance; occupant positions and accommodation and the mechanical arrangement with geometrical compatibility.

VA are the first engineering team involved in the programme and involvement continues to Job#1 and beyond.

• Excellent project and people management skills, with tenacity in resolving issues.
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills; ability to interface with senior management.
• Ability to resolve complex, multi-dimensional problems and present solutions with clarity.

• Knowledge of FEDE, PLM, CAE, CAD, Auros
• E2KS and Digital Buck tools
• CATIA abilities

• Delivery of vehicle programs

• Knowledge of commercial vehicle variants / configurations preferred.

• Degree in Engineering discipline

5 Days in office with an optional 1-day remote working (In office days Mon-Thurs)
