White Label Recruitment are very excited to be working with an extremely reputable and market leading manufacturing company who are industry leaders of their product in their search of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Business that has over 100 people and are going through an exciting period, this is a great opportunity to join a major business.
The Role:- Develop and maintain mechanical design information and management systems, ensuring integration with other disciplines for efficient manufacture and supply of new products (using Solid Works and PDM Works).
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to achieve optimal engineering solutions.
- Manage the evolution of standard upgrade options for products post‑launch.
- Minimum HNC in Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in mechanical design, open to junior, graduate, and senior‑level engineers.
- Ideally experience designing pressure vessels, tanks, rotating/flow equipment (valves, pumps, etc.), conveying systems, mechanical/material handling, special purpose machinery, etc.
- Understanding of European Directives, CE Marking, ASME standards, and North American pressure equipment regulations.
- 3D Modelling experience is a must. Ideally Solidworks but open to similar design packages such as Inventor or Solidedge, etc.
- £40,000 - £50,000 (Dependent on Experience).
- 25 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays.
- 36.5 hour working week with flexible start times.
- Monday – Thursday – 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
- Friday – 7:30 am until 12 pm.
- You can choose to work a full Friday and work a 9‑day fortnight (Every other Friday off without affecting your holiday allowance) or finish at 12 pm on Fridays.
