Domestic Gas Engineer – South West Heating Services Ltd

South West Heating Services Ltd are currently recruiting experienced domestic breakdown and service engineers to work in private homes in the Devon & Cornwall Area. Opportunity to go on our flexitime contract with a 4 day working week, with a 4 day weekend every 5th week. £ Joining Bonus

The role will require the engineer to be confident in diagnosing faults on all types of domestic gas heating boilers and hot water systems. The engineer will also need to have a good understanding of servicing procedures and be able to carry out gas safety checks.

  • Strong Customer Service and communication skills.
  • Motivation and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Experience using a multimeter.
  • Experience in all areas of Gas Safety, System and Boiler Diagnostics including repair.

Applicants must hold a current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR
1. Applicants may be considered if they hold CCN1 and CENWAT1 only. The successful candidate will also be required to be part of an On-Call Rota. Full UK Driving licence also required.

Job Type: Permanent | Pay: £9,000-5,000 per year + Overtime and Standby Payments | Holiday: 20 days standard + 8 Bank Holidays

Senior Process Engineer – Oil & Gas Operations

Our client, a major operator in the upstream oil and gas sector, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer to join their operations team based in Plymouth, Devon, UK. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and troubleshooting process systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, and mentoring junior engineers.

  • Conduct process calculations and develop P&IDs.
  • Perform HAZOP studies and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Reduce operational costs and enhance plant safety and environmental performance.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project management departments.
  • Provide technical expertise to senior management.

Requirements:
Bachelor's or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline;
Chartered Engineer status desirable; strong analytical and communication skills.

Senior Reservoir Engineer – Exploration & Production

Senior Process Safety Engineer – Oil & Gas

Our client seeks a highly experienced Senior Process Safety Engineer based in Plymouth, Devon, UK. The role focuses on ensuring the safe design, operation and maintenance of oil and gas facilities.

  • Lead and conduct PHAs, HAZOP, LOPA, and HAZID studies.
  • Implement robust Process Safety Management systems.
  • Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions.
  • Review safety-critical design elements and MOC processes.
  • Provide safety training and guidance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; minimum 8 years of process safety experience; knowledge of PSM principles;
Chartered Engineer status desirable.

Senior Process Safety Engineer (Remote)

This fully remote position allows contribution to critical safety initiatives from anywhere in the UK.

  • Execute PHAs, LOPA, and SIL assessments.
  • Develop and maintain PSM systems.
  • Conduct safety reviews and incident investigations.
  • Provide process safety training and support.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering; 7+ years of process safety experience; CSP or similar certification desirable.
