This role is hybrid with office-based four days a week in Croughton and one day working from home. We are forward thinking and continuously looking to improve how we operate and welcome new ideas as the team values collaboration and a close working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for electrical projects across various sectors.
  • Review tender documentation, specifications, drawings, and scope of works.
  • Conduct take-offs from drawings and specifications.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes and rates.
  • Prepare and submit tender submissions and proposals.
  • Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings when required.
  • Work closely with the contracts team to ensure a smooth handover from estimation to delivery.
  • Analyse cost and profitability of completed projects to improve future estimates.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, with at least 2 year in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and current regulations.
  • Excellent understanding of commercial, industrial, and residential electrical works.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite (Excel essential).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence (reasonable adjustments will be considered where appropriate)
