Foran Mining is a modern mining development and exploration company advancing Canada's only greenfield copper project currently under construction: the McIlvenna Bay deposit in Saskatchewan. • Configure and tune control systems to improve performance.
  • Maintain instrumentation and OT records, including calibration logs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Help develop and maintain instrumentation and control procedures.
  • Support instrumentation and automation in capital and maintenance projects.
  • Assist with commissioning and start-up of new systems and equipment.
  • Support upgrades from legacy systems to modern platforms.
  • Provide technical support and training on instrumentation and OT.
Job Qualifications and Skills
  • Diploma or degree in Instrumentation, Automation, or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in instrumentation/control systems in industrial or mining settings.

  • Strong knowledge of Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP protocols.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and industrial automation software.
  • Understanding of OT cybersecurity practices.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive Hourly Rate: $48.90/hr with an additional 10% annual bonus.
  • 100% Employer paid Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Long-term disability Insurance.
  • RSP with company match.
  • Camp-based position with travel support.

Foran is committed to building a skilled and diverse workforce as we move into our next phase of growth. Indigenous applicants are encouraged to self-declare when submitting applications and resumes. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, you must be legally able to work in Canada.

The McIlvenna Bay Project site is a drug and alcohol-free workplace. Due to the safety-sensitive nature of this position and the remote work environment, candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, which includes drug and alcohol testing, as a condition of employment.
