This offer is for our Fabrication and construction team located at our Laval office, specifically in the
** Sainte-Dorothée
** neighborhood.
** Overview:
** The TEKLA Coordinator Technician will work within our fabrication and construction engineering team. He will play a central role in coordinating several technical aspects of 3D models for the manufacturing and construction of large-scale steel structures.

Thanks to its technical rigor and advanced knowledge of TEKLA, he will be able to ensure the link between engineering concepts and the drawings/models produced by our subcontractors and ensure their compliance. A master at reading structural drawings, the TEKLA coordinator technician has solid experience in a 3D model sharing environment and can independently manage all aspects of 3D modeling, down to the details of columns, beams, connections and all aspects of dimensioning and annotation of drawings in order to produce fabrication drawings.
** Tasks and main responsibilities:**
* ** Analyze, understand, and interpret
** information received regarding projects to be executed, ensuring consistency of information
* ** Coordinate projects
** between clients and subcontractors for detailed drawings
* Produce RFIs (
* requests for information*) and provide responses as needed to track drawing files until customer approval
* Determine and calculate the functional, physical, dimensional, structural or geometric constraints of parts
* Produce workshop and connection drawings using TEKLA (3D) software required for the fabrication of various steel structure components
* Implement and maintain DPHV drawing standards
* Produce connection plans containing the required sections and details
* Maintain customer relations and constant communication with project managers
** Required profile:
*** Proven experience in steel structures and modeling on TEKLA Structure (essential)
* French proficiency (spoken and written) (essential)
* Fluency in English (spoken and written) (essential – as our subcontractors and clients are mainly based outside Canada)
* Hold a general health and safety certificate for construction sites (ASP card)
* Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders
* Customer service orientation and attention to detail
* Autonomy, organization and initiative
