CAD Manager – Highways

Location:

Union Street, London – remote working available, occasional travel to office required.

Hours:

Permanent, Fulltime 40 hours per week – flexible hours available on request.

Salary: £55,000 – £62,000 per year + private healthcare + benefits.

This role is open to candidates (no sponsorship certificates).

• Develop, implement, and maintain CAD standards, templates, and workflows across the highways design team.
• Manage CAD team, providing training, mentoring, and technical support.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure CAD deliverables meet project requirements.
• Oversee production of 2D and 3D design drawings, models, and visualisations for highways projects, reviewing and approving CAD outputs before submission.
• Support project coordination meetings and contribute to design reviews.

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Design Technology, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in highways design CAD management within consultancy or contractor environments.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) and knowledge of highways design standards (DMRB, Manual for Streets, TfL Streetscape).
