Environmental and Sustainability Advisor – Norfolk
We're looking for an Environmental and Sustainability Advisor to join our Transportation team based in Norfolk. In this role, you'll work primarily on our Norfolk Highways contract, supporting the delivery of environmental compliance and driving our sustainability commitments.

LocationNorfolk – travel to site required, with some remote working available.
HoursPermanent, Full-time 37.5 hours per week – flexibility available, just let us know when we speak.
Salary£30,000 - £35,000 per year + £5k annual car allowance + benefits.

What will you be responsible for?As an Environmental and Sustainability Advisor, you'll provide expert guidance to ensure legal, client, and company requirements are met, achieving all environmental compliance obligations, objectives, and targets.
Your day to day will include :- Supporting the rollout and implementation of our One Planet Approach sustainability action plan
- Ensuring project compliance with the Kier Group Integrated Management System and ISO 14001 : 2015
- Carrying out environmental assessments of Kier designed schemes to identify compliance requirements, drive improvements, and then carry out site inspections and audits to ensure recommendations have been implemented on site.
- Collaborating with operational and commercial teams to collect and report environmental data (e.g., carbon, waste, materials, water) for client and internal reporting
- Raising awareness of key environmental issues, identifying training needs, and delivering environmental training
- A degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent) and professional membership of ISEP or similar
- Experience in environmental management, ideally within a construction environment with proven ability to assess environmental impacts, identify risks, and advise on mitigation measures
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of maintaining, implementing, and improving EMSs certified to BS EN ISO 14001
