Senior Estimator

MCS Group has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a leading civil engineering contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role within a motivated team.

The Role We are working alongside a leading contractor to recruit a Senior Estimator to join their team. In this role you will play a key part in the Estimating team, the successful candidate will work alongside submissions and technical teams on the preparation of competitive tenders. You will;
Lead the estimating process on major and complex tenders, managing supply chain engagement, client interaction and coordination with internal commercial and delivery teams. Produce accurate estimates, cost plans and budgets from early-stage information, with the ability to price from first principles and analyse subcontractor quotations. Manage Design & Build tender requirements, including identifying design elements and coordinating with external designers.

Work across multiple tenders at once, contributing to tender meetings, collaborating with the wider bid team, and ensuring all costs are accurately compiled in estimating systems. Support and lead members of the estimating team, helping develop junior staff while contributing to business development and maintaining strong client relationships. What's in it for you;

The Ideal Candidate ;
Experience in estimating/ commercial/ procurement roles for Construction or Civil Engineering projects Strong knowledge of cost management, estimating, and contract administration.
