Lead Engineer
Join our innovating Engineering team. We devise smarter systems to control and monitor oil and gas extraction. Significantly designing leading subsea and surface pressure capabilities—our team provides technical guidance, support, and completes customer projects from planning, testing, deployment to delivery of our cutting‑edge surface wellhead products.
Responsibilities- Develop surface wellhead and tree final engineering design that meets client needs and emphasizes proven technologies and existing solutions.
- Generate designs, machine detail drawings, stack‑up drawings, bill of materials, calculations, engineering part information and field service manuals to meet customer requirements and industry standard (API 6A).
- Ensure engineering deliverables are completed within the agreed timeline.
- Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and established approaches.
- Integrate all preliminary information and contribute data to develop the final design.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical, Industrial, or Petroleum).
- Minimum five years of design engineering experience for surface pressure control equipment, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum seven years experience with surface wellhead and Christmas tree products, including deep knowledge of the API 6A and API 16A standards.
- Minimum three years experience using 3D models and 2D machine detail drawings with CAD software.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- In‑depth knowledge of engineering and drafting standards, codes and regulations relevant to the discipline.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a global‑matrix environment across different time zones.
- Self‑starter, proactively identifying and solving problems.
- Excellent report‑writing and presentation skills and ability to articulate technical information clearly.
