Corrpro Canada is Canada's largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for protecting and preserving infrastructure. We provide professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro Canada has complete construction installation services, including crews and equipment to install any cathodic protection system for any type of structure.
WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Plan and perform testing and field surveys for corrosion and corrosion protection systems, evaluation of test results and installation of cathodic protection systems on various structureWork with specific objectives and instruction from senior staff on customer drawings and specificationsConduct field surveys to gather data for evaluation of corrosion and corrosion controlExecute pipeline and tank integrity testingPerform testing of corrosion prevention systems including cathodic protection, protective coatings, AC/DC interference and corrosion monitoringGather structure-to-soil potential data, soil measurements and rectifier dataDiagnose and develop recommended remedies for system difficulties observed during resurvey operationsWrite survey reports for review by an engineerSketch rectifiers, anodes, test stations, and other design features on prepared drawingsSketch physical features of installation site for subsequent addition of detailOrganize and reduce data gathered, prepare charts and tablesAssemble and analyze data for preparation of final client report including recommendationsPrepare survey reports and final job reports for reviewAssist manager in appraising employee performance and related mattersAct as direct interface with customer as neededAssist in cost estimation and detailed proposalQUALIFICATIONS:
AMPP / NACE CP Technologist (CP III), CIP II or working towards them10 years corrosion control experience including training and managing techniciansMust have strong project management and problem-solving skillsStrong team and internal customer service skills requiredMust be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyMicrosoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint with ability to work with complex spreadsheets, databases, and presentation softwareMust have valid Driver’s License with good driver's abstractMust be able to lift 50 pounds / 22 kg on a regular basisMust be able to travel overnight and work overtimeWHAT YOU STAND TO GAIN:
