We are looking for an
** Intermediate Drafter
** located in
** Rockyview, AB,
** to support engineering and fabrication activities through the creation of accurate technical drawings and models. This role is focused on traditional drafting responsibilities and will utilize
** AutoCAD with Cadworx
** to produce layout drawings, P&IDs, and 3D models for new and existing equipment and facilities.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Promote a safe work environment and actively support a safety-first culture; report all incidents, near misses, or injuries promptly.
* Create and revise layout drawings, process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and 3D models using AutoCAD and Cadworx.
* Collaborate with internal team members and external vendors to ensure design accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
* Apply knowledge of piping systems, pressure vessel codes, and instrumentation in drafting work.
* Review and verify design drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and welding standards.

* Work schedule:

Monday to Friday, Hybrid with one 1-day working from home.
* Office-based role in Rockyview, AB

* Minimum Qualifications:

*** Completion of a 2–3-year college program in engineering design and drafting technology or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years of industry/related experience.
* At least 1 year of experience in a fabrication environment.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Cadworx.
* Understanding of Champion

X safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Working knowledge of piping systems, pressure vessels, and structural welding.
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Trade certification for a draftsperson or certification in engineering design and drafting technology.
* Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Advanced interpersonal and collaboration skills.
