KBE Engineer - Knowledge Based Engineer (KBE).

Responsibilities include:

Creating CAD (Catia/NX) parametric math models for BIW upperbody components/subassemblies using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques. Position requires extensive knowledge of Teamcenter and NX modeling and an extensive background developing, packaging, and releasing BIW components and subassemblies. Additional responsibilities managing internal and external suppliers, supporting pre-production and launch activities at vehicle assembly plants (US, Mexico, CA), creating and maintaining CBOM and quadris, benchmarking, and other responsibilities as required for the role/program.

Requirements:·

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent bachelor's degree with experience.

· + Years of CAD modeling with Siemens NX

· + Years of Robust Modeling with Siemens NX

· + Years of Parametric CAD Modeling with Siemens NX

· + Years of Body in White (Automotive) Engineering Experience

· Strong English Speaking skills, including technical language

· Strong Engineering Design Project Presentation skills required

· Remote Work with ability to travel to supplier/Stellantis sites as required

· Proof of Covid Vaccination will be required

Preferred Requirements:

· + Years of Body in White and/or Closures CAD Engineering experience.

· + years of body experience

· + Years of CAD Parametric Modeling with Seimens NX

Additional Information / Must have's:

. In-plant body shop experience
. Vehicle launch experience
. Sheet metal (BIW upperbody/underbody or closures) design and release experience (KBE trained)

o Onsite/ Remote Hybrid - Mainly remote; would need to come to CTC (Auburn Hills, MI) for only when in-person attendance is required for training.

% of travel: % travel to vehicle assembly plants (US, MX, or CAN depending on the program) and occasional travel to CTC (Auburn Hills, MI)
