Gas Service Engineer - Home based - Ideally located in the areas of Ayrshire
The Customer Engineering team at Calor Gas are looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Gas Engineer providing engineering services and emergency response to Calor customers in the area.
Calor Gas is the UK’s leading LPG supplier. We offer a range of off‑grid energy options for heating, cooking and other needs to homes and businesses, including sectors such as agriculture, transport and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities- Installing and maintaining Calor’s bulk tanks and assets at customer sites.
- Traveling (van and fuel provided) to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer base.
- Participation in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies out of normal working hours; additional rates of pay apply.
- ACS Gas Qualification.
- Experience in dealing with customers and providing excellent customer care.
- Relevant gas engineering experience considered useful, and an understanding of LPG and the installation and maintenance of bulk LPG tanks and cylinders would be a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards, including Health and Safety awareness.
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions.
- Full industry‑specific training and support will be given to the right individual.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
