Key Responsibilities- Establish FPGA/ASIC modules' technical specifications in accordance with the system specifications
- Work in tandem with verification, software, and hardware team member(s) to deliver new subsystems and features
- Digital design and RTL coding (Verilog / System Verilog / VHDL)
- Establish test plans, simulations environment, and test coverage
- Synthesize and elaborate routing and placement constraints
- Perform formal verification, lab integration, and support
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in FPGA / ASIC design
- Solid expertise in RTL coding (Verilog / VHDL)
- Experience in System Verilog
- Experience with:
- FPGA design and simulation tools (Model Sim, Questa, Xilinx Vivado/Vitis, Intel Quartus, etc.)
- Laboratory test equipment tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.)
- Scripting for tools and framework automation
- Excellent ability to adapt to a variety of environments and to use different methodologies
- Bilingual (French and English)
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience with Matlab and digital signal processing algorithms
- Experience with communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet, TCP/IP, PCIe, etc.)
