Position: Senior Project Planner (Nuclear)

The Opportunity:

Our Nuclearsubsector, a key component of WSP’s ERI (Energy, Resources and Industry) sector, supports clients in the nuclear industry. Our team offers a wide range of services, including technical and feasibility studies, project management, detailed design, procurement, site management, quality surveillance, commissioning and asset management. This division is operating at an exciting time as nuclear power and new technology solutions are developing globally, with Canada as a leader in nuclear refurbishments, nuclear new builds, incredible capital projects portfolios and a deep history in nuclear supply chain.

WSP is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner/Scheduler (Nuclear)to join one of Ontario offices. This position will likely require travel within the GTA and surrounding areas, Tiverton, Pickering areas on a regular basis.

The Senior Project Planner / Scheduler will play a key role in supporting project managers with planning, scheduling, change management, project monitoring, and controls reporting—specifically within the context of nuclear and high-complexity energy projects. This hands‑on role is critical in establishing and maintaining a Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and tracking progress across all phases of nuclear infrastructure programs. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in nuclear project environments, including regulatory awareness, long‑duration lifecycle planning, and integration of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities.

You will also support proposal development with nuclear‑specific scheduling insights and scenario modelling. As part of WSP’s national ERI (Energy, Resources & Industry) group, you’ll work on some of Canada’s most complex nuclear initiatives, gaining exposure to refurbishment, decommissioning, and new build programmes. You’ll be mentored by industry leaders and fast‑track your development toward becoming a senior project controls analyst, with potential for PMP certification.

Be involved in projects with our Nuclear division and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges!
