Senior Structural Designer - E3D​/PDMS

Aberdeen based – role can be fully remote working. Oil & Gas sector.

Multiple Senior Structural Designers are required on an initial 12-month contract, with the opportunity to work fully remotely.

Senior Structural Designer with experience of PDMS software – ideally E3D software, but this isn’t essential.

• As the Senior Structural Designer, you will provide technical expertise for the structural design of new infrastructure and modifications to existing infrastructure for the energy sector.
• As the Senior Structural Designer, you will provide technical information to support estimates for project work scopes.
• Provide technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process.
• Conduct site surveys on offshore or onshore assets.
• As the Senior Structural Designer, you will produce structural design drawings / 3D models etc.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews / HAZIDS.
• Provide checking of structural drawings.
• Interface with other disciplines, clients and third parties on technical project issues.
• As the Senior Structural Designer, you will be compliant with company engineering procedures, industry, international and client codes and standards.
• Ensure that all work complies with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures as appropriate.
• Structural general arrangement drawings.
• Structural detail drawings.
• Installation methodology drawings / documents.
• Survey reports.
• Construction workpack input.
• Weight control reports.
• Presentations, sketches etc. to assist in scope communications.

• As the Senior Structural Designer, you will have experience with structural general arrangement drawings.

• Installation methodology drawings / documents.
• Survey reports.
• Construction workpack input.
• As the Senior Structural Designer, you will have experience with weight control reports.
