With over 30 years of experience in plant engineering and millions of engineering hours, VTU has become a key player in the design of industrial facilities. As our team continues to grow, we are looking for committed Project Engineers (f/m/d) to join our team in Muttenz and help us successfully deliver innovative projects in the life sciences industry.

Your contribution to our success:

• Planning of process engineering systems from concept phase to commissioning
• Performing process calculations
• Design and specification of equipment
• Preparation of flow diagrams and P&IDs
• Preparation and participation in procurement processes
• Participation in risk analyses (HAZOP, FMEA, etc.)
• Coordination of specialist planners
• Support during inspections and commissioning
• Organizing planning teams within a project

Your profile:

• Degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, or a comparable field
• Ideally 2–3 years of experience in the development, planning, implementation, and commissioning of process plants; GMP knowledge is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills, team player, and a high level of customer and quality orientation
• High sense of responsibility, resilience, and strong communication skills in project teams
• Enjoyment in working with people from various disciplines
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
