As an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer specializing in dams you will join a collaborative, forward‑thinking team tackling complex dam, reservoir, and hydropower projects in a supportive and inclusive environment. - Support the design, analysis, and construction of dams, reservoirs, dykes, spillways, and hydropower projects across Canada.
- Conduct Dam Safety Reviews and inspections in accordance with Canadian Dam Association Guidelines, including short‑duration travel within Canada.
- Manage and coordinate geotechnical‑focused and multidisciplinary project teams, commensurate with your experience.
- Mentor and be mentored by colleagues fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry partners.
- Contribute to business development, proposal preparation, and market expansion initiatives.
- Lead or contribute to digitization initiatives, advanced numerical modeling, market research, and emerging technologies focused on climate change adaptation, risk and liability reduction, and aging dam management.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently.
- Proactive approach and strong problem‑solving skills.
- Passion for positive impact through engineering.
- Effective communication skills, including report writing and client engagement.
- Commitment to technical excellence and mentorship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geological, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s or PhD an asset).
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in dam engineering, dam safety, geotechnical design, and/or dam construction.
- Knowledge of relevant Canadian and global dam guidelines and standards.
- General knowledge of geotechnical software solutions (Geo Studio™, Leap Frog, Rocscience).
- Demonstrated ability to work and manage projects independently and on a team.
- Active participation in professional associations and technical communities is an asset.

Pay Range- Locations Outside of Lower Mainland - BC: $ – $ Annually

Pay Transparency:
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions where required. The final agreed compensation is based on education, qualifications, experience, and location. Certain roles are bonus eligible. Part‑time compensation is pro‑rated.

Regular full‑time and part‑time employees (≥20 hrs weekly) have access to health, dental, vision, wellness, CRA, RRSP, ESPP, TFSA, AD&D, disability, travel, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage, and PTO.
