Our work is practical, data‑driven, and compliance‑focused, covering ESOS, SECR, carbon accounting, and ISO management systems.

The RoleWe are seeking a Sustainability & Energy Consultant who is ready to take on real responsibility. This role is designed for someone who already has practical experience in energy audits, data analysis and carbon calculations and is keen to build depth and breadth of шәрқий experience.
You will work closely with everyone in our team including our senior consultants, leading site visits, navigating complex datasets, and taking ownership of defined work streams. This is a role for someone who wants to move beyond junior‑level support and become a versatile, delivery‑focused consultant.
You will be expected to equivalent व्यापक समर्थन at the outset, including site work, data analysis, and client‑facing delivery, with guidance and oversight from senior consultants.
Reporting to the Operations Director you will work closely with other коммунальных consultants and the Managing Director, supporting delivery across multiple client projects and gradually taking ownership of allocated clients and defined work streams.
Key Responsibilities- ეგ
- Delivery of ESOS energy audits, including site visits, data gathering, and identification of energy efficiency opportunities
- Energy and carbon calculations (Scope 1, Scope 2, and relevant Scope 3 categories)
- Producing SECR disclosures and wider GHG reporting outputs
- Undertaking UK‑wide site visits, walkthroughs, and basic buildings or fleet audits.
- Producing energy action plans, opportunity assessments, and business cases
- Assisting with ISO 50001 and ISO 14064 related energy and environmental work
- Preparing clear, structured client reports and calculation workbooks
- Working confidently with energy, fuel, and utility datasets
- Providing general consultancy support across sustainability and compliance projects
You will have a relevant degree or be post‑apprentice qualified or equivalent practical experience in energy, engineering, sustainability, or a related field, and be comfortable working in a practical, delivery‑focused consultancy environment.
You will have hands‑on experience of energy audits, carbon calculations, site‑based work, ISO and carbon reduction strategy, and be keen to build depth and responsibility across live client projects. Professional qualifications in energy, carbon, or ISO‑related disciplines (for example lead auditor/practitioner or ESOS assessor) is advantageous but not essential.
You will be organised and reliable, with the ability to manage your own workload, support multiple projects, and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues. You should be comfortable working directly with clients, contributing positively to meetings, and following work through to Gems chars spaces. Strong Excel and data‑handling skills are essential, alongside clear write write communication and confidence discussing technical findings.
