Remote Sanitation Operations Leader - Multi-Site

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialized Industrial Cleaning & Waste Management Specialist to join their team in a fully remote position. This role is crucial for overseeing and advising on complex cleaning operations and waste management strategies within industrial settings, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

• Develop and implement specialized industrial cleaning programs and waste management strategies for diverse client sites.
• Conduct remote assessments of industrial environments to identify cleaning challenges and waste management opportunities.
• Provide expert technical guidance on the safe handling, containment, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous industrial waste.
• Oversee compliance with all relevant environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and permits.
• Advise on the selection and application of appropriate cleaning agents, equipment, and techniques for specialized industrial processes.
• Develop training materials and conduct remote training sessions for client personnel on industrial cleaning and waste management procedures.
• Monitor waste streams and cleaning efficacy, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
• Stay abreast of new technologies, regulations, and best practices in industrial cleaning and environmental management.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents related to industrial cleaning or waste management, providing remote support and guidance.
• Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure effective and sustainable operations.

• A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial cleaning, hazardous waste management, or environmental compliance, with a strong focus on specialized industrial applications.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial cleaning processes, chemical safety, waste characterization, and disposal methods.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing environmental management plans and waste reduction strategies.
• Excellent remote communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams and management.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the use of relevant software tools for environmental management.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• In-depth understanding of relevant environmental legislation (e.g., national and local regulations).
• Experience with emergency response planning for industrial incidents is highly desirable.
