We are looking for a Senior Antenna Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Leominster. Reporting to the Chief RF Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing and optimising high-performance antenna solutions, taking projects from initial concept and simulation through prototyping, testing, verification and production. You will also have the opportunity to influence technical decisions, work directly with customers and share your expertise with developing engineers.

This is a predominantly on-site role based in Leominster, with occasional remote working by exception and some UK and international travel as required.

• Design, develop and optimise antenna solutions across a range of frequencies and applications.
• Use CST Microwave Studio or equivalent EM simulation tools to model, analyse and improve antenna performance.
• Lead technical work packages from requirements capture through to testing, verification and production transfer.
• Undertake antenna testing, including S-parameters, gain, efficiency and radiation pattern measurements.
• Provide technical expertise to customers, supporting design reviews, proposals and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality and commercial teams to deliver robust, reliable solutions.
• Support and mentor junior engineers while contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.

• Degree in RF, Microwave, Electronic Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in antenna design and RF engineering, taking designs through the development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, impedance matching, antenna principles and RF performance.
• Practical experience using CST Microwave Studio or equivalent EM simulation software.
• Hands-on antenna testing experience, including VNAs and antenna chamber measurements.
• Ability to lead technical activities, communicate effectively and work collaboratively across engineering teams.

Experience with in defence, aerospace, communications or other high-reliability industries would be advantageous, as would knowledge of wideband, multiband or platform integrated antenna designs.
