Cutting Edge Modular Inc. is seeking a contract drafter to produce precise 2D shop drawings for timber components and framing layouts.
You will design connections using Simpson hardware and wood-to-wood joinery while coordinating with foundations, MEP, and steel to prevent on-site conflicts. The role requires strong knowledge of heavy timber framing, mass timber, and wood truss systems, along with proficiency in timber/BIM software and the ability to read and apply wood engineering standards
