Position: Senior Game Designer (Unity, Creative)
Location: Via Milano
We are looking for a Senior Game Designer to join us in creating and guiding our projects, from VR simulators to educational games and multiplayer experiences!

The Game Designer we’re looking for err towards the creative / narrative sphere, able to analyze new briefs and propose solutions to clients with the proper documentation.
You will be front-facing with clients, explaining to them your project and intermediate milestones, and you will see through the whole development of the projects you proposed, developing the project alongside your colleagues and ensuring the quality of the product developed.
To be clear: this is not a junior position, and we require the designer to be able to work in Unity, not only on documents!
IMPORTANT: we’ll be starting following up applications after 06 Jan 2025!

Understand requirements, ask the right questions and design tailored XR or gaming solutions
Interact with clients during design proposals and development, producing the necessary visual documentation and presenting it
Plan future developments with the support of the development team including scope, roadmap and milestones
Work with the team or on your own to define the systems and the mechanics and prototype them when needed
Create and maintain a clear and efficient design documentation
Own the product vision and ensure that creative, quality and budgetary goals are met
Mentor other members of the team as needed
4+ years of industry experience, with proven track record of completed projects
Excellent creative skills and able to analyze game systems
Unity engine knowledge and basic scripting skills
Knowledge of UX design and able to apply it in every project
Git (you will be cloning, pulling and pushing!)
Team worker, willing to help others and share knowledge
Great communication skills, (able to discuss with non-gamer people or non-technical people)
Passion for games, XR and cutting edge technology
A natural curiosity for all aspects of game development and a willingness to work on a wide variety of systems
Able to mentor other people
Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken
Expertise in VR and AR design principles
Level Design
Narrative Design & Storytelling
Knowledge of software like Adobe XD/Figma, Photoshop, PowerPoint or other "visual" tools
Project management experience is a big plus
Extra skills outside the sphere of game development are always welcome

Employment type

is full-time, on-site in Milan, Italy.
Yearly Salary Range: € 35K – 45K
Currently on-site working, with occasional remote work agreed with your manager or lead.
Full remote work opportunities are evaluated only for freelancing.
