We are currently partnering with a leading manufacturer based in Coventry
, who are recruiting for a VAT Specialist to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time position offering 2-3 days per week home working and a negotiable salary of £45,000 (subject to experience). The start date is subject to notice.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years’ experience in UK VAT, ideally within a large corporate environment.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Leading the preparation and submission of UK VAT returns
• Providing VAT advice on business transactions, contracts, and new projects
• Managing VAT audits and liaising with HMRC
• Monitoring changes in VAT legislation and assessing their impact on the business
• Supporting the implementation of VAT controls and process improvements
• Collaborating with finance, legal, and commercial teams to ensure VAT compliance and efficiency

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• 5 years’ experience in UK VAT essential, ideally within a large corporate environment
• Strong understanding of VAT legislation, compliance, and reporting requirements.
