Job DescriptionThe Finance MI and Data Manager is responsible for owning, developing, and optimising the financial reporting ecosystem that underpins Redcentric’s operations. This role acts as the bridge between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure financial data is accurate, accessible, and transformed into meaningful insights that drive operational and commercial decision-making.
Sitting in the Commercial Finance Team, you will oversee the design, governance, and continuous improvement of finance reporting tools, D365 outputs, dashboards, and data models. The role combines hands‑on technical expertise with strong business understanding, ensuring that systems and reporting capabilities scale with the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities- Reporting & Analytics
- Develop, maintain and enhance financial and operational reporting across the business (e.g., revenue, margins, utilisation, recurring costs, contract profitability) using Excel or Power BI as appropriate.
- Own the creation and distribution of management information (MI), dashboards, and KPIs using Power BI tools focusing on both YTD performance but also the full year targets.
- Translate business requirements into technical reporting specifications in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Finance Data Management
- Validate the integrity of the Finance Data Lake and reconcile to reported actuals.
- Maintain data governance, user access controls, and process documentation.
- Troubleshoot D365 system issues and coordinate fixes with internal IT teams or external vendors.
- Process Improvement & Controls
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and streamline reporting workflows.
- Drive continuous improvement of data flows between operational and finance systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial governance standards.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Commercial, and IT Delivery teams to ensure data and reports support business objectives.
- Act as a subject matter expert on reporting capabilities during new system implementation and business change initiatives.
- Strong experience in finance systems management and/or financial reporting.
- Advanced skills with Power BI and Excel.
- Solid understanding of Dynamics 365.
- Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into meaningful business insights.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work with both technical and non-technical users.
- Proven track record of improving reporting processes and system functionality.
- Experience with professional service automation tools, preferably compatible with D365.
- Exposure to data warehousing concepts.
- Project management or change management experience.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and data-driven.
- Proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Collaborative team player who can influence at all levels.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving IT services environment.
The company’s standard working hours are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am until 5:30 pm, and from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm on a Friday, with one hour for lunch. The role offers hybrid working with the option to work from home 2‑3 days per week.
