Financial Controller, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, Xero, UK & US Experience – Part Remote

Financial Controller required to join a fast growing Fintech business based in the City of London. This is a part‑remote role where you can work from home from time to time.

We need an experienced, qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Financial Controller who has experience with Xero Software, and experience of working with the UK and US side by side. Preferably exposure to the Payhawk platform, or something similar. A stable tenure history and a background in SaaS or Fin Tech is preferred.

• 7‑10+ years experience in accounting / financial control roles
• Experience operating across multi‑entity, UK & US environments
• Background in SaaS, Fin Tech, or high‑growth technology companies strongly preferred
• Proven hands‑on ownership of controls, billing, payroll coordination, and core finance operations

• Xero experience (essential)
• Payhawk or similar expense management platform experience
• UK payroll experience essential; US payroll coordination strongly preferred
• Strong Excel capability, including multi‑entity reconciliations, pivot tables and lookup formulas, cash flow and balance sheet analysis, audit‑ready schedules and work papers

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified – preferred
• Qualified by experience (QBE) candidates with strong SaaS / Fin Tech background will be considered
• Experience operating in multi‑entity, UK & US environments highly valued
