Financial Advisor

About the role

This employed Financial Advisor role is available within a small, directly authorised independent financial advisory firm. You will be provided with an existing client bank of circa £25m FuM to take over servicing, ensuring clients continue to receive excellent ongoing financial planning. The role provides a platform to retain, serve, and grow this further.

The role requires building long‑term relationships with clients and delivering in‑depth reviews to understand their current and future goals and objectives. You will advise on pensions, investments, protection, and other financial needs. Clients are spread across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Buckinghamshire. This is a hybrid role with an element of home working, visiting clients, and one visit per week to the Luton office.

The firm uses a mixture of telephone, video, and in‑person client meetings.

Alongside servicing the clients, you should look to develop new business from existing clients, referrals, or lead generation methods.

• Hold a fully Level 4 Diploma in financial planning or equivalent
• Have 2+ years of client‑facing experience as a Financial Advisor (with CAS status)
• Proven, demonstrable track record in growing a client bank through proactive activities
• Client‑centric approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills, approachability, professionalism, and good IT skills

• Salary of up to £70,000 plus circa £30,000–£40,000 in bonuses
• Additional benefits include medical and life cover, 5% employer pension contribution, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Hybrid working with a mixture of home and office plus travel to meet clients
