About the role

Hargreaves Lansdown (HL) are recruiting for an Enterprise Risk Manager to join the team. You'll play a pivotal role in providing guidance and input across operational, financial, prudential, conduct, technology, and regulatory risk directly to the Legal Entities. A key aspect of this role will be maintaining the Metric Stream GRC Tool for the Group so previous experience with Metric Stream will be required to be successful.

What

you'll be doing
  • Maintain and develop and support the enhancement of the GRC solution (Metric Stream) for HL.
  • Provision of guidance and input across the Risk Universe (operational, financial, prudential, conduct, technology & regulatory).
  • Produce Insightful risk analysis/assurance report using info/data from across the risk universe.
  • Monitor, report & challenge the management of the LEs to risk capacity/appetite levels.
  • Effective communication and engagement with key internal stakeholders on issues across the full range of the risk universe.
  • Providing oversight and challenge to the Legal Entities and business outputs.
  • Implementation of risk tools, standards, and guidelines, in line with industry best practice.
  • Deliver risk training to the Group.
  • Support the delivery of the Group's ICAAP (ICARA).
  • Provide risk input and support on projects and change activity as required.
About you
  • Good knowledge of FCA Handbook.
  • Detailed understanding of Metric Stream GRC tool.
  • Knowledge and experience of working in a regulatory environment.
  • An understanding of enterprise-wide risk profiles including credit and market risk exposure.
  • Good understanding of current key risks facing financial services organisations.
  • Proven ability to build and direct strong and effective relationships with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to raise and escape risks to relevant levels and provide firm challenge.
  • Strong influencing, communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Willingness and ability continue to learn, take new courses, increase and broaden personal knowledge.
  • Industry recognised qualification at Diploma level in one or more areas are desirable, e.g. IRM, CISI, GARP, CISM, CISSP, CCSP, ITIL.
Interview process

The interview process for this role will be 2 stages including a task.

Working Schedule

This role is based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL
. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you the option of working from home and coming into the office.
