Oracle Functional Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to join our finance systems team. This role is key to supporting business needs both now and in the future, ensuring the integrity, availability, and enhancement of finance systems and associated reporting tools. You will work alongside an expanding team to support BAU activities, investigate and log complex issues, and deliver solutions across all finance system modules.

• Investigate and resolve complex functional and business process issues.
• Analyse requirements, develop options, and produce detailed specifications for solutions.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical / development teams to ensure requirements are accurately translated and delivered.
• Provide second-line support for finance systems, ensuring issues are handled efficiently and effectively.
• Contribute to the configuration, enhancement, and development of finance systems and reporting tools.
• Identify, assess, and proactively manage risks, issues, and problems.
• Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and senior stakeholders to provide specialist advice and guidance.

• Demonstrable experience in a second-line support role, ideally with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.
• Proven track record of supporting and enhancing finance systems and associated reporting tools.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to influence system configuration and development.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• A logical, pragmatic, and adaptable approach to problem-solving.

• This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining on-site and remote working (subject to business requirements).
• The position is initially offered as a 2-year fixed-term contract.
