Main duties of the jobWe work on a hybrid model with a blend of office based on site, and remote working. Office based days will be at our newly refurbished offices at Regent Court, which is accessible via public transport, a few minutes from Five Ways station. Remote home working will be supported for up to 2 days per week.

Specification Qualifications
- CCAB recognised accountancy qualification
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- Capital and Lease Accounting experience
- Experience of monthly reporting cycles and population of month end reports
- Experience of working with other finance colleagues to ensure monthly tasks are completed within tight deadlines
- PFI Modelling and accounting experience
- Experience of NHS capital reporting and funding mechanisms
- Use own initiative while knowing when to consult.
- Logical thinker with sound analytical skills, able to deal with large volumes of complex data and perform highly complex analysis of financial data.
- Ability to make judgements/decisions in complex situations and use professional judgement to ensure the best outcome for the Trust
- Ability to clearly/ coherently document justification for professional judgements made
- Manage a large workload and plan work according to changing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent verbal and writing skills
- Well-developed systems and IT knowledge
- Ability to use databases, analyse highly complex data, diagnose problems, identify solutions and undertake business case benefits analysis
- Managing timetables milestones and diaries
- Experience of personal development planning and monitoring
- Manage time and work to tight deadlines and respond quickly and accurately to important issues
- Promote, drive and deliver a customer focussed service
- Remain calm and collected under pressure
- Conflict resolutions skills
- High level analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills
