We work on a hybrid model with a blend of office based on site, and remote working. Office based days will be at our newly refurbished offices at Regent Court, which is accessible via public transport, a few minutes from Five Ways station. Remote home working will be supported for up to 2 days per week.

• CCAB recognised accountancy qualification
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development

• Capital and Lease Accounting experience
• Experience of monthly reporting cycles and population of month end reports
• Experience of working with other finance colleagues to ensure monthly tasks are completed within tight deadlines
• PFI Modelling and accounting experience
• Experience of NHS capital reporting and funding mechanisms

• Use own initiative while knowing when to consult.
• Logical thinker with sound analytical skills, able to deal with large volumes of complex data and perform highly complex analysis of financial data.
• Ability to make judgements/decisions in complex situations and use professional judgement to ensure the best outcome for the Trust
• Ability to clearly/ coherently document justification for professional judgements made
• Manage a large workload and plan work according to changing priorities and deadlines
• Excellent verbal and writing skills
• Well-developed systems and IT knowledge
• Ability to use databases, analyse highly complex data, diagnose problems, identify solutions and undertake business case benefits analysis
• Managing timetables milestones and diaries
• Experience of personal development planning and monitoring
• Manage time and work to tight deadlines and respond quickly and accurately to important issues
