Management Accountant

Management Accountant | Outskirts of Canterbury | £40k - £50k DOE We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established, growing organisation with a successful finance function.

You will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information, supporting audits, and ensuring robust financial controls. You will also oversee the finance activities and support and mentor junior members of the team. This role is 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities - Preparation and support of monthly management accounts Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes Supporting audit preparation and liaising with external auditors Supervising and mentoring accounts assistants Overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations and credit control Identifying and implementing process improvements Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies Providing financial support and analysis to stakeholders across the business Involvement in ad hoc finance projects as required

The Ideal Candidate - Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience Proven experience in a management accounting role Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines The ideal candidate will be motivated, commercially minded with excellent communication skills.
