Tax Compliance Senior

Due to continued growth, our client a respected independent accountancy and business advisory firm operating across the North of England and Scotland are seeking a Tax Compliance Senior to join its Business Services team in Glasgow.

• Being responsible for entering Tax information into the relevant sections of our Tax software ready for review by a Tax Compliance Manager
• Dealing with complex areas within their portfolio, including Profit Sharing, Farmers Averaging Claims, CGT computations etc
• Sending reminders to clients for required / missing information
• Completing electronic submissions of returns to HMRC
• Reporting any HMRC compliance enquiry notices to the Tax Compliance Manager
• Providing support and training on Tax data entry to Tax Compliance Assistants

• Full UK Driving Licence
• ATT or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience
• Background in accounting or tax compliance within an accountancy practice
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a willingness to support colleagues
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills; able to prioritise under pressure
• Proactive and self-motivated
• Enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic team
