Financial Accountant

Position: Financial Accountant (Permanent)
SF are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant based in Nottingham on a permanent basis for a brilliant company that offers study support, flexible working and opportunities to progress. Must have proven experience in preparing Statutory Accounts and Year - End duties. Open to candidates from Practice or industry.

Salary up to £45,000 + Bonus

Hours:

9:30 - 5:30
25 Holidays + Bank holidays (Increases with length of service +1 each year)

Job duties:

- Production of the monthly management accounts. Including balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals and prepayments.
- Production of the quarterly consolidated accounts.
- Monthly KPI reporting.
- Monthly cash management and cashflow forecasting and distribution management.
- Review of quarterly VAT Returns.
- Quarterly intercompany reconciliations.
- Production of the annual budget.
- Production of the annual statutory accounts, complying with IFRS/ FRS 102 reporting.
- Assist with Debt and Lender reporting.
- Assist with Audit as required.
- Assist with Tax Compliance.
- Support the fund teams with queries.
- Compliance with regulatory bodies

The ideal candidate will have the following:
Experience in preparing Statutory Accounts and Year - End duties and ideally experience in preparing Management Accounts and Month - End duties
Part Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Good Excel skills
Good attention to detail
Team player
Ability to use own initiative
